Marvel Studios seems to be making a point of making sure that 2008's The Incredible Hulk is more alive than ever in the latest movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Today, it was announced that a major character from the first Hulk movie will be in Captain America: New World Order. Liv Tyler, who played Betty Ross in the MCU for the first time 15 years ago when she was in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, will return to the MCU.
The newsthat Tyler is coming back to the MCU doesn't come as much of a surprise, though, since her on-screen father General "Thunderbolt" Ross has been an important part of the MCU in the past and has made special appearances in Captain America: Civil War and the last two Avengers movies.
Ross was already going to be in Captain America: New World Order, but this time Harrison Ford will play him. After William Hurt died in 2022, the Star Wars veteran took over the role.
The Incredible Hulk came out in 2008, two years after Iron Man. Before Mark Ruffalo took over the role of Bruce Banner in 2012, Edward Norton played him in The Incredible Hulk. Betty's father, General Thaddeus Ross, was played by the late William Hurt.
He went on to be in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Black Widow, while Tim Roth's The Abomination was in the Disney Plus show She-Hulk last year. Ross, who is played by Tyler, has, however, been noticeably absent from the series as it has grown.
Julius Onah, who directed The Cloverfield Paradox, will be in charge of Captain America: A New World Order. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), who plays the title character, will come into his own as the shield-wielding hero with the help of Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez), and others.
In Mackie's first solo Captain America movie, "Captain America: The New World Order," Sam Wilson is the main character. Tim Blake Nelson, who played The Leader in the first Incredible Hulk movie, will also be in the new one. Danny Ramirez is back as Joaquin Torres, the role he played in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Carl Lumbly will also be back as Isaiah Bradley.

Conclusion

It confirmed that Liv Tyler returns as Betty Ross to Marvel Studios 15 years after starring in "The Incredible Hulk." Tyler has joined the cast of Captain America 4, which is currently called Captain America: New World Order. She will play the scientist Betty Ross again.
Ross is the daughter of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who was played by the late William Hurt in several movies and will now be played by Harrison Ford in the next one.
Incredible Hulk came out in the summer of 2008. It was the second movie from Marvel Studios after Iron Man, which started the MCU. Edward Norton played Bruce Banner/The Hulk in it. Norton famously left the series and was replaced by Mark Ruffalo in The Avengers (2012).
