Lance Reddick, an actor best known for his parts in "The Wire" on HBO and the "John Wick" action movies, has died, his agent Mia Hansen told CBS News. He was 60.
Born in Baltimore in 1962, Reddick's first love was music. As a teenager, he went to the Peabody Preparatory Institute and took a music theory and composition course at the Walden School. After getting his Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, in the 1980s and started going to the Yale School of Drama in 1991.
The actor was found dead at his home in Studio City. He had died of natural causes. Reddick's wife, Stephanie Reddick, and his children, Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick are the only people survived by him. Wick director Chad Stahelski and star Keanu Reeves said in a statement:
