Jennifer Coolidge makes hilarious TikTok debutwith her "Shotgun Wedding" co-star Jennifer Lopez on Friday. It was a funny one. Jennifer Coolidge's comeback in pop culture just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does.
We've seen the Emmy-winning actress completely steal the show on TV, in movies, and even in music videos. Now, with her first TikTok, she's taking her talents to a new platform.
Coolidge, all dolled up and in front of a green screen, tries to do "something cool" for her TikTok debut by reciting the millennial hit "Jenny From the Block" like she's onstage at a slam poetry night.

Jennifer Coolidge Makes TikTok Debut With Jennifer Lopez | E! News

Jennifer Coolidge just used TikTok for the first time, and her video did not disappoint. Jennifer Lopez and the star of White Lotus worked together on the clip, which was a poetry reading of "Jenny From the Block." Coolidge said in the video, before reciting the lyrics to J. Lo's hit song.
This is my first TikTok, and I was thinking of something cool to do and I think I’m just going to do a poem that I like.- Jennifer Coolidge
Don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got/ I’m still Jenny, Jenny, Jenny from the block.- Jennifer Coolidge
She says as the camera moves to Lopez, who nods in approval. Jennifer Lopez, who acts alongside Josh Duhamel and Cheech Marin in the romantic comedy Shotgun, was present and gave a quiet "I like that"to her friend and co-star, who plays the singer/actresses' future mother-in-law. “I really, really like that."
Lopez went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night to promote the movie and talk about the PTSD she had before finally getting married to longtime love Ben Affleck last summer. She also talked about how veteran comedic actress Jennifer Coolidge is "on fire" right now.
Lopez said that the other Jen isn't always what you'd expect her to be like when Kimmel said that Coolidge is always "odd," "nutty," and funny in her own unique, often detached way in everything she does. Lopez said:
You expect her, because she’s so hilarious and everything, that she’s gonna come over and she’s just gonna be funny away. But it’s kind of like how her characters are where she’s like there and you’re like,- Jennifer Lopez
‘Is she trying to be funny or is she not being funny?’ And you don’t know if to laugh or not to laugh and then when you see it later it’s hilarious! And you’re like, ‘I should have laughed!'- Jennifer Lopez
Lopez, who stars with Coolidge in the upcoming romantic action comedy Shotgun Wedding, also posted the video on her own TikTok with the caption "Happy JENNUARY @jennifercoolidge @primevideo #ShotgunWedding."
The two actresses also posted the video on Instagram. Coolidge's co-star on White Lotus, Meghann Fahy, said, "I just liked this twice,"and Coolidge's co-star on season two of White Lotus, Haley Lu Richardson, said, "Oh my actual god."
There's no denying that Coolidge has a delightfully weird style that fits perfectly on TikTok. Even though this may have been the "White Lotus" star's first personal contribution to the platform, she has had viral moments on it before, like when a dance remix of her character from the second season of the show went viral.
So it would be silly to expect anything less from a video that the comedy queen herself made with the help of another queen named Jennifer.
People who like JCool and JLo together (which, let's be honest, is everyone) can look forward to the action-comedy movie "Shotgun Wedding," which will be shown for the first time on Amazon Prime on January 27. The trailer shows Coolidge as a soon-to-be mother-in-law who wears curlers and carries a shotgun. What could be bad about that?

Conclusion

Jennifer Coolidge made her first TikTok video with her "Shotgun Wedding" co-star Jennifer Lopez on Friday. It was a funny one. Some people might have expected her to read a work by William Shakespeare, Walt Whitman, or Robert Frost.
Instead, Coolidge read the words to J. Lo's hit song "Jenny From the Block" from 2002, without showing any emotion at all. The camera then moved to Jennifer Lopez, who had been sitting next to Jennifer Coolidge the whole time. Lopez thanked Coolidge for his beautiful reading.
The two Jennifers have talked to fans together in the past. This week, Lopez shared a video of herself and Ben Affleck at the Los Angeles premiere of "Shotgun Wedding" with her 232 million Instagram followers. In the video, Ben Affleck also makes a cameo.
