In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Benedict Cumberbatch's character, Doctor Strange, uses magic to fight off all kinds of threats. Unfortunately, the actor doesn't have the same powers to use in real life when he's in danger.
A guy with a knife broke into the North London home of Marvel star, Benedict Cumberbatch and his family were threatened. When a cook with a knife tried to break into Benedict Cumberbatch's home, he and his family were scared. Jack Bissell, who is 35 years old and used to work as a cook at the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, was to blame for what happened. Even though no one knows the exact date, the event happened earlier this month.

Benedict Cumberbatch And His Family Were Threatened

Benedict Cumberbatch Targeted at Home by Knife-Wielding Chef

The man who was accused of breaking into Benedict Cumberbatch's home in north London with a knife and threatening the "Doctor Strange" star and his family has admitted to criminal damage. When a former chef at a fancy hotel went on a rant with a knife at Benedict Cumberbatch's home, he and his family were afraid for their lives.
Jack Bissell, a 35-year-old chef de partie who used to work at the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, broke into the home of the Cumberbatch family in north London with a fishing knife. After breaking through the front yard gate, he spat on the intercom of the £3.5 million house and used the knife to pry it open. According to a recording that was played in court, Bissell was heard yelling:
I know you've moved here, I hope it burns down.- Jack Bissell
Sophie, Benedict Cumberbatch's wife, and their three children were all at home with him when this happened. A source who did not want to be named said that they were all "absolutely terrified" and "thought this guy was going to get in and hurt them."
Bissell didn't say why he went after Cumberbatch and his family in court, but prosecutors said that before this "targeted intrusion," as the source put it, Bissell bought two packages of pita bread and "shouted" at the shopkeeper that he was going to break into the Cumberbatch home and "burn it to the ground."
On May 10, Bissell went to Wood Green Crown Court and admitted to causing criminal harm. He also had to pay a fine of $310 and stay away from the family and their home for three years.
The former chef is said to have pulled a plant out of the ground and thrown it at a yard wall. He is also said to have spat into Cumberbatch's intercom device and tried to move it with a fish knife.
Before the police got to Benedict's house, Jack left the scene. But cops were able to catch Bissel with the help of the DNA evidence that was left on the intercom. The former cook has been charged, and he has been given a restraining order that will keep him away from Cumberbatch's family for three years.
Bissell had been convicted of theft before and had warnings on his record for drug, property, and public order crimes. Not much is known about whether Bissell and Cumberbatch know each other. The actor, who was nominated for an Oscar, has not talked about what happened in public.
Cumberbatch is best known for his leading parts in movies like Doctor Strange, The Imitation Game, and The Power of the Dog, as well as the popular British TV show Sherlock. In 2015, he got married to Hunter, who is a theater director and writer. Christopher, 7, Hal, 6, and Finn, 4, are their three children.

Conclusion

This month, a U.K. court heard that a man with a knife broke into Benedict Cumberbatch's home in London while the actor, his wife, and their children were inside. The man also made a number of threats. Cumberbatch, his wife Sophie Hunter, and their three children were all inside the north London home when a former hotel chef named Jack Bissell walked up to an iron gate in the front yard.
A lawyer for the government said Bissell pulled a plant out of the ground and threw it at the yard wall. He also spat on a doorbell by the front door and used a fish knife to pull it off the wall of the multimillion-dollar home.
