Tom Cruise FLIES JET While Accepting MTV Movie & TV Award For 'Top Gun: Maverick'

Tom Cruise took off in a plane to accept an MTV Movie & TV Award for Top Gun: Maverick. The sequel came out in 2022 and was a financial success. During its run in theaters, it broke several box office records.
It shows what happens when Pete "Maverick" Mitchell goes back to Top Gun and is given the job of teaching new graduates for a mission to destroy an illegal uranium enrichment plant. Cruise is known for doing his own stunts, and in Top Gun: Maverick, he flew a P-51 Mustang. He is a qualified pilot, so he was able to do this. He shared while speaking into his aviation headset:
“Hi everyone, thank you so much for this award. “I make these films for you. I love you, I love entertaining you! To know how much you enjoy it, how much you appreciate it, there’s just no better feeling.”- Tom Cruise
Cruise, who is known for doing dangerous stunts in his action movies, also talked about Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, which is coming out soon. He told people to come to see "Wild Ride" in theaters when it came out on July 12.
You have a wonderful summer. Thank you again for letting me entertain you. It’s an absolute privilege. We’ll see you at the movies.- Tom Cruise
The same plane seen in Tom Cruise's acceptance video shows up at the end of Top Gun: Maverick, when Cruise's character takes off with Jennifer Connelly's character, Penny Benjamin. Cruise did most of his own stunts and acted out actual action on screen for most of his career.
He wasn't able to fly other planes in the movie, like the Super Hornet, but he did get to fly his P-51 Mustang in the last scene. Cruise helped coordinate stunts and plan how they would look so that some of the movie's most famous flying scenes could be done.
Cruise has done a lot of tricks in the past, especially in the Mission: Impossible movies, that look just as crazy as flying a plane. In Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, the actor climbed up the Burj Khalifa, which is one of the biggest buildings in the world.
In Rogue Nation, he was tied to the outside of a plane as it took off. With the next part coming out soon, Cruise has already hinted that he will be doing a motorbike jump, which is one of the more dangerous stunts he has done.
Cruise was nominated along with Austin Butler for his role in Elvis, Michael B. Jordan for his role in Creed III, Keke Palmer for her role in Nope, and Florence Pugh for her role in Don't Worry, Darling.
Top Gun: Maverick is one of the few movies to have won both the golden popcorn at the MTV Movie & TV Awards and the Oscar at the Academy Awards. It will be released in theaters in May 2022. The action movie, a remake to Top Gun from 1986, won Best Sound at the Oscars in March. It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Song, Best Film Editing, and Best Visual Effects.
Before the event, 'Top Gun: Maverick' had the most nominations for a movie, and 'Stranger Things' and 'The Last of Us' had the most nominations for scripted television, each with six.

Conclusion

Tom Cruise accepts the 2023 MTV Award in a Movie award at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards on March 7. The best part of the night, though, was his speech, which he gave from a fighter plane. In a clip thanking fans for the honor, Cruise was seen in a fighter plane high in the sky wearing sunglasses and talking into a headset. His golden popcorn award was with him on the plane.
