Ed Sheeran has said that his wife, Cherry Seaborn, was told she had a tumor when she was pregnant with their second child. In a diary entry that was photographed by Annie Liebowitz and posted to Sheeran's Twitter on Wednesday, he talked about how a series of events at the beginning of last year changed his life, mental health, and the way he sees music and art. He announced in a statement on his Instagram:
I had been working on ‘Subtract’ for a decade, recording hundreds of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be. Then at the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.- Ed Sheeran

Sheeran and his wife had Jupiter in May 2022. She was their second daughter. Lyra, their first child, was born in August 2020. Many fans were surprised by the news because they didn't know Seaborn was even pregnant. Sheeran's life was turned upside down again after he found out that his wife was pregnant and had a tumor.

The singer didn't say anything else about what was going on with his wife's health. After 2021's Equals, 2017's Divide, 2014's Multiply, and 2011's Plus, Subtract is the last book in his series about math. On May 5, Subtract will be out. Along with the news of his new album, the father of two put out a set of photos taken by the famous photographer Annie Leibovitz.
He also shared a moving video of himself walking along the beach while the song titles were written in the sand. At one point, he was climbing an unstable ladder that fell apart on him.
Ed also said that he will play a few arena shows in the UK and Europe next year. The first one will be in Manchester on March 23, 2023, followed by two nights at London's The O2 arena on March 24 and 25, then Glasgow and Dublin on March 28 and 30, and finally Paris on April 2.
